An Egyptian director and puppet designer, born in 1939. He graduated from the College of Fine Arts. He preferred working in Egyptian television to joining and working at the university. He is the son of the great director Mahmoud Rahmi, who died in 2001. He directed the series Bougy and Tamtam (2009), starring Amy Samir Ghanem and Mohamed Shahin.
