A Syrian of Palestinian origin, born in 1937 in Haifa, and as a result of the Nakba, he immigrated to Damascus, where he worked to earn his living and then launched a career in the literary and artistic fields. He began writing novels and plays that talk about the people’s concerns and hopes. He joined the Syrian Artists Syndicate. He died in 1984 and was buried in Damascus.
