An Egyptian actor and writer whose most famous works as an actor include Taming of the Shrew (1996 )and Al-Helmiya Nights S5 (1995). He also wrote Sunrise Without Sunset and Mabrouka's Dreams (1987). He was a member of the National Theatre and the Council of the Representative Trades Union. He died on 7 March 2017.
