A Syrian novelist, born in Homs. He obtained a Ph.D. in Media and Journalism from the University of Belgrade. He lives in Switzerland and has obtained Swiss citizenship in addition to his Syrian citizenship. He has written several books, the most important of which is a book on philosophy entitled "Waey Assolook" (Awareness of Behavior). Among his novels is "Oshaq Al Dair" (The Lovers of the Monastery). He also wrote many short stories, such as The Spirits of Pictures.
