An Egyptian-Saudi writer, actress and director, born in Alexandria in 1969. She moved to Saudi Arabia after her parents divorced. Abeer studied Sociology at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, and graduated from the university in 1993. After graduating, she worked as a journalist for a number of media publications in Saudi Arabia. Abeer Refaat moved to Egypt to fulfill her old dream of acting, so she started her artistic career in the field of commercial advertising until she presented her first artistic work in 1997 through the play Disco, People, after which she participated in several different series, the most important of which was her role in the series The Stray, and Critical Moments.
