A Kuwaiti writer, born in Kuwait. He co-founded the Arab Theater Troupe on October 20, 1961, and won the second prize in the playwriting competition organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in 1965 for his play The Mind Is on a Vacation. In 1976, he headed the...Read more delegation of the Arab Theater Troupe, which presented in Syria the play The Third. He received a bachelor's degree with honors from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. In 1985, he obtained a doctorate in theatrical criticism. He participated as an actor with the Arab Theater Troupe in some works, including 24 Hours. He wrote for the Arab Theater Troupe The Third, and Habiba's Lovers. He participated in many local and Arab theater festivals and cultural weeks in Damascus, Tunisia, Yemen, and Egypt. He is known for writing short stories, mostly about sea life in Kuwait in the past. He practiced journalistic writing in many Kuwaiti magazines and newspapers, and is considered one of the first critics in Kuwait.
