A Syrian writer, playwright, and actor, born in Homs in 1945. He obtained a degree in the Arabic language from the University of Damascus in 1971. He published his early work in Syrian newspapers and magazines. He also worked as a teacher of the Arabic language in Syria and some...Read more Arab countries. He resigned in 1995 to devote himself to writing. He writes short stories and children's literature and is a member of the Children's Literature Association. Some of his credits are The Ship of Dreams (1996), Essam and Rasha (2005) and The Robot (1997).
