An Iraqi playwright and director, born in Baghdad. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 1980. She worked on Iraqi television as an assistant director on many series and plays. She also wrote and directed many plays for children. Among her notable works are the plays Afrot Exams, And Suddenly I Woke Up, and A Call from Bigdar.
