An Egyptian author, born on November 27, 1954. He is from a family of Arab Bedouin origins from Belbeis, Sharkia Governorate, Egypt. After obtaining high school, his father sent him to study law in Cairo, but he studied directing and worked as an assistant director. He traveled to Germany to obtain a master's degree at the Munich Institute, but he fell ill with a bleeding ulcer due to the freezing cold. He did not complete his studies, so he worked for Kodak company. During this period he turned to authoring and artistic production and that was in the late seventies. Among his works is the play Marriage Game and the series To Be Continued.
