An Egyptian director and actor. He started as an assistant director in several TV series, including No, My Dear Daughter, and Quail and Autumn, before making his directorial debut through the series Shandawil Looking for a Bride (1981). He is best known for acting in The Days, and The Holy Ka'bah.
