An Iraqi director, actor and writer, born in Baghdad. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. He began his career in theater, then moved to television and cinema. He's known for The Treasure (1991), On the Pond Feast and Wedding (1989) and Othman El Mosili (1989). He died on March 28, 2018, after a struggle with illness.
