She is an Iraqi comedian actress, born in 1956, in Dhi Qar, southern Iraq. She joined the College of Fine Arts, Department of Dramatic Arts, in 1974, graduating in 1978. Director Falah Zaki discovered her in 1977, and she stood in front of television cameras for the first time with the late artist Mohammed Al-Qaisi. The late actress has many films and series in her account. She also participated in many plays with comedic roles, as well as presenting many TV shows. The comedian Amal Taha had suffered a stroke since 2009, as a result of which she withdrew from the artistic community. She left our world on Thursday evening, 19/5/2016, at the age of sixty years, after a long struggle with illness.
