An Algerian director, screenwriter, TV and film producer, born in Sidi Aïch, Bejaïa, Algeria. He was the first to introduce sitcoms to Algeria, and he produced many Algerian Ramadan series. He owns the Broad Art Film Production Company. Some of his works include Sultan Ashour the Tenth, Jameii, and Rendezvous with Destiny.
