An Iraqi actor and director who began as an actor in many plays and series, practiced theater directing, and directed more than ten plays. He is one of the few who communicated with his homeland through his writing of many works, whether for theater or dramatic series, which were discussed by critics and remained in the viewers' memories. His credits include Threads from the Past (1993), The White Glove (1997) and When Do We Sleep? (2011).
