A TV presenter, writer, and psychologist, born on September 1, 1950, in Vinita, Oklahoma. He gained fame through hosting the show Dr. Phil, which he launched in 2002, and before that, he appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in the late nineties. In one of his episodes, he hosted an American young woman engaged to a Palestinian youth in the West Bank as an abnormal case and tried to convince her to give up her relationship with him and have a relationship with an American guy. This episode provoked anger among Arabs, which led to a decrease in the popularity of the program after it was shown on one of the MBC channels, and the program was stopped at a later time.
