She obtained a master's degree in media from Cairo University and studied screenwriting at the Raafat El Mehi Film Academy. She worked as a news editor and translator for Egyptian radio and wrote articles for a number of Egyptian newspapers and websites. She is known for I Dropped Dead (2018).
