Katherin Whitton "Kathy" Baker is an American stage, television and film actress. She debuted in the drama film The Right Stuff in 1983, after which she won awards for her performance in Street Smart in 1987. She is best know for her roles in Edward Scissorhands, The Cider House Rules, Cold Mountain and Nine Lives.
