Hassan received his degree from the journalism division of the literature faculty at Janoub al-Wadi University. He spent a period working for more than one newspaper before being employed as a media consultant for several Real Estate Investment firms. Thereafter Hassan managed the media and advertising campaigns of several firms before becoming a media consultant at the al-A’rabiyah Company, a post he has held since 2005.
