A Bahraini musician, born in Muharraq, Bahrain in 1960, into a simple family where his father worked as a sailor. Ali learned to play musical instruments in his teens, and started his concerts in his home city. After that, he established with his brother and some friends "El Baharyia Band", which released an album and performed a number of concerts. In 1986, the band members agreed to establish the band "The Bahraini Brothers". Ali Bahr's songs were famous in the Gulf and the entire Arab world, where he presented over 300 songs in different dialects. In 2011, he fell into a coma after suffering from shortness of breath, and later died in Salmaniya Hospital.
