Jan Guillou is a Swedish author and journalist who was born on the 17th of January, 1944. Guillou has written several books in the spy and historical fiction genres. Moreover, Guillou also owns one of the largest publishing houses in Sweden. Guillou first came to the public’s attention in 1973 when, in cooperation with another reporter, he exposed a covert intelligence organization operating in Sweden. Guillou is also the author of “The Knight Templar” trilogy. Two of the books in this trilogy, “Arn – The Knight Templar” and “Arn – The Kingdom at Road’s End” have already been adapted into films.
