Egyptian actress born in Maghagha, Minya Governorate. She participated with director Nour El Demerdash in the series Master of the Mountain (1977) and then participated in some episodes of riddle shows directed by Fahmy Abdel Hamid. She worked in cinema, television, and theater. She retired from acting after her marriage in 1991 at the request of her husband, but her marriage lasted only 3 years. She decided to leave Egypt and work in some Gulf country. She resumed her career in 2012 after a long hiatus, with the series Religion and Life, directed by Adel Alaasar.
