Egyptian director who graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema on June 1975. He worked as a director at the National Center for Cinema. He worked as an assistant editor with the late Adel Mounir and trained with the editor Saeed Al-Sheikh. He worked on the British Broadcasting Corporation (the Arabic section) in the program Art Magazine presenting analysis and criticism of films during his stay in London in 1977. He worked as an assistant director in several feature films, the last of which was Ismailia: Back and Forth (1997) and Never Crossed My Mind (1999), in addition to several series. He wrote with Hussein Al-Imam the script of the movie The Coolest Man In Roxie (1999).
