Egyptian actress who was born in 1898 in Al-Kharnafesh neighborhood in Cairo and died on December 5, 1975. Her father is Sheikh Ahmed al-Hamzawi who was a religious singer. In her youth, she participated in the singing theater as an actress and moved with theatrical groups between Egypt and the Middle East, and she was called the "singer of the two territories". She worked with great composers such as Sayed Darwish, Kamel Al-Khela'i, Abu Al-Ela Muhammad, Riyad Al-Sunbati, Muhammad Qassem, Daoud Hosni, Zakaria Ahmed, Ahmed Sedky. She is known for acting and singing in Young Dreams (1942) and Tenderness (1944).
