Hemeda Mussa, the dean of the Bedouin song in the Western Desert, was born in Sidi Barrani, west of Alexandria, and then moved to Alexandria. He formed a band with his two brothers, then joined the Alexandria Radio as a singer in 1959, after which producers rushed to make several albums for him, then a Libyan company produced for him several albums. He participated in some films, such as Honeymooners; DND!, and Untamed Desire. He died in 2007.
