James Eugene "Jim" Carrey is a Canadian American actor and comedian born in 17th of January 1962. His mother was of French, Irish, and Scottish descent [6] and his father was of French Canadian ancestry. Carrey has been married twice, first to Melissa Womer on March 28, 1987; the two were divorced in late 1995. Afterwards he married his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly in September 23, 1996; their marriage lasted less than a year. Carrey made his first film debut with" Rubberface" in 1981. Later that year, he won the leading role in skiing comedy "Copper Mountain". In 1985, Carrey saw his first major starring role in " Once Bitten", where he played the role of Mark Kendall, a teen virgin pursued by a 400-year-old female vampire. Moreover in 1995, Carrey appeared in "Batman Forever" and reprised his role as Ace Ventura in "Ace Ventura: When Nature Call"s. Both films were successful at the box office and earned Carrey multi-million-dollar paychecks. From his famous successful comedy movies were: "The Cable Guy" and" Liar Liar". Carrey did win a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama and an MTV Movie Award for Best Male Performance. In 2003, Carrey re teamed with Tom Shadyac for the financially successful comedy "Bruce Almighty". In 2005 he presented the psychological thriller movie " The Number 23," which revolves around a man who becomes obsessed with the number 23, after finding a book about a man with the same obsession. His last cinema movie was "Mr. Popper's Penguins" in 2011 when he presented "Tom Popper".
