Carey Hannah Mulligan is an English talented actress who was born on the 28th of May 1985. In August 2011, she got engaged to singer Marcus Mumford. In 2004, at the age of 18, Mulligan began her career by playing the role of "Kitty Bennett" in (Pride & Prejudice). Later in 2005, she played the role of the orphan "Ada Clare" in the series "Bleak House". Afterwards she continued with "The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard" and "Agatha Christie's Marple: The Sittaford Mystery" (2006) in addition to "When Did You Last See Your Father?", "Waking the Dead", "Doctor Who", "My Boy Jack" and "My Boy Jack"(2007). At the age of 22, she presented her first leading role as a 16 year old "Jenny" in the "An Education" (2009) where she was nominated for a Golden Globe, Academy Award and Screen Actors Guild Awards, as well as receiving a British Academy Film Award. Moreover she starred in "The Greatest " (2010) as a pregnant girlfriend of a boy who dies. In the same year she won a British Independent Award for "Never Let Me Go" for her impressive role as" Kathy". In 2011, she returned to the stage with the play "Through a Glass, Darkly" as mentally unstable woman. Recently she is joining "Leonardo DiCaprio" starring the upcoming 2012 movie "The Great Gatsby" where she is playing the role of the superficial Daisy Buchanan.
