Mohamed Mazen Al Helany AKA Assi Al Helany was born on the 28th of November 1970. His name mainly comes from the “Al Assi River” and also after the big artist, Assi Al Rahbani. He was born in Beirut amongst a family of 13 siblings. Between composing and singing he produced 19 albums and he was labeled as the “ The Knight of Arab Songs” He won many awards and his musical was a combination of romance and patriotism. He married ex Miss Lebanon “Colet Pauls” and has 3 children , Marita, Dan and Al Walid.
