A Syrian singer and actor, who studied art at the Musical Development Center at the Egyptian Opera House and graduated from the Arabic Oud House, which was established by the musician Naseer Shamma. He specialized in performing the songs of the late Abdel Halim Hafez. He studied classical composition in the United States. He is also known as Majd Riyad. He is the son of the former Syrian Minister of Culture, Dr. Riyad Naasan Agha. He worked in acting and singing in Damascus and Egypt. Among his works as an actor are the series Spotlight S7 (2010) and Chiffon (2011).
