An international film director, writer, and producer of Circassian origin, born in Amman. He immigrated to the United States at the age of thirteen to complete his studies there. He graduated from the History Department at Earlham College and studied economics and international relations at Claremont Graduate University in California, from which he obtained master’s and doctorate degrees. He worked for several years in business administration with multinational organizations in both New York and London. He worked as an assistant with famous American directors and became a member of the Writers Guild of America. Among his notable works are A Facebook Romance (2012) and Cherkess (2010).
