Bradley Cooper is an American actor. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1975. He graduated with honors in English from Georgetown University, and then went on to get his MFA in acting from the Actors Studio Drama School. He got his very first role in "Sex and the City" in 1999, then landed his first film role in the hilarious cult comedy "Wet Hot American Summer" (2001). He scored a major, recurring role on the hit television series "Alias" (2001-2006). He's best known for his roles in "Wedding Crashers" (2005), "The Hangover" (2009), "Limitless" (2011) and "The Silver Linings Playbook" (2012). He was named the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine in 2011. He has been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture for his performance in "The Silver Linings Playbook." 'He also appeared in the ensemble cast of David O. Russell's dramedy "American Hustle" alongside Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Jennifer Lawrence. His performance as an unhinged FBI Agent earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. In 2014, Cooper starred in the Marvel Comics superhero film "Guardians of the Galaxy," alongside Vin Diesel and Chris Pratt.
