A Canadian actress of Polish descent, born in Germany. She moved with her family to New Jersey, United States after the end of World War II. She attended James J. Ferris High School in New Jersey before studying psychology at Saint Peter's University in the same state in 1972. Then she moved to Canada, where she began working in theater and television, in addition to commercials and animated and narrative films. Some of her credits include The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009), Warcraft (2016), and The Perfection (2018).
