A Lebanese director and producer, born in Tripoli, Northern Lebanon, in 1920. He was educated at the Carmelite Monks School, and in 1937, he headed to Italy after receiving a scholarship to study theater. After returning, he worked as a teacher in his primary school, and then at the Frères School. In 1954, he joined Near East Radio, and in 1956, he co-founded a company and worked in it as a writer and director. In 1963, he directed his famous movie Mr. Latouf. Later on, he was assigned to work as a program director for the Lebanese Radio and remained in that position until his death in 1984.
