On June 19th, 1981 at Masr El Gedida, Egypt, Loai Tayssir Abdel Wahed was born to a Palestinian father and an Egyptian mother, originally from the Suez. He is a talented upcoming singer. In the beginning of his studies, he joined the University of Musicology. Yet, he gave it up because there was no teaching of the guitar- the instrument which he had long been fond of. So he enrolled at the University of Tourism. Loai started his artistic career by joining the "Qithara" (Guitar) Orchestra of the maestro Alfred Jamil. The Orchestra’s aim was to attempt to restore the traditions of the Oriental authentic music.
