A writer, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA in 1960. He is married to Tabitha Soren, and they have four children. Their 19-year-old daughter Dixie Lewis died in a car crash near Truckee, California on May 28, 2021. His most famous films are The Blind Side (2009), Moneyball (2011), and The Big Short (2015).
