He is an American actor born in Daly City, California, on November 5, 1968. After graduating from high school, he was trained at the William Esper Studio in New York. He played notable roles in various films, including Matchstick Men (2003), Green Mile (1999) and Moon (2009). He won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017).
