She is an Egyptian actress who studied theatre at the American University in Cairo and started acting on stage in Arabic and English while studying. She starred in the play "The Thief "for writer Tawfik El Hakim on Rawabet Independent Theater, where she was spotted by filmmaker Daoud Abdel Sayed who then cast her to star in his film Messages from the Sea (2010). She is known for the films Asmaa (2011), Excuse My French ( 2014), and the TV series Asia (2013).
