Nagy Shaker was born in Cairo on February 16, 1932. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1957, Department of Decoration, with a diploma project on puppetry. He was chosen to participate in the establishment of the Puppet Theater, so he designed and decorated the puppetry...Read more for the play, "Al-Shater Hassan", which launched the first show of the puppet theater in Egypt. He was appointed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Decoration in 1959. He designed the puppetry for the second show of the "Bint Al Sultan" Puppet Theatre, and "The Big Night" operetta. He's known for Shafiqa and Metwally (1978), and Summer 70 (1972).
