He is an Egyptian poet who was born in Monsha'et El Kanater in 1964. He joined the Teachers’ Institute in Dokki and worked as an Arabic language teacher. He wrote songs for a number of plays that were shown at the Qanater Culture Palace. He collaborated with the popular singer Shaaban Abdel Rahim in many songs, such as "I Hate Israel". He wrote the lyrics of films such as You-Know-Who (2003), and Citizen, Informer, and Thief (20010). He acted in some works, including Inch & A Half (2004), and Mom at the Police Station (2010).
