An American screenwriter and producer, born on June 22, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts, he moved to Los Angeles and began his career as a television writer. He then joined Walt Disney Animation Studios, where he co-wrote Treasure Planet (2002) and The Princess and the Frog (2009).
