She is an actress, comedian, producer, and writer, born on September 16, 1971 in Burlington, Massachusetts. She graduated in 1993 from Boston College and moved to Chicago to continue her studies. She co-founded the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in 1999. She was part of the Saturday Night Live program from 2001 until 2009. She was nominated multiple times for an Emmy Award and won a Golden Globe for Best Actress for the sitcom Parks and Recreation. Her other roles include Baby Mama (2008) and Inside Out (2015).
