Abigail Breslin, one of the youngest actresses in history to be nominated for an Academy Award, is an American child actor beloved for her acclaimed turn in "Little Miss Sunshine" (2006). For her performance, she was nominated for an Oscar, a BAFTA, a Critics Choice Award, a Satellite Award, and a Screen Actors Guild award. Even at age ten, Breslin was already a seasoned actor far from the beginning of her career. She made her film debut at age five in M. Night Shyamalan's "Signs" (2002) with Mel Gibson, then appeared in "Raising Helen" (2004) with Kate Hudson. Subsequent film credits include "No Reservations" (2007), "Definitely, Maybe" (2008), "My Sister's Keeper" (2009), "Zombieland" (2009), "Rango" (2011) and "The Call" (2013) with Halle Berry. She was born in New York City on April 14, 1996.
