An Egyptian actress, with a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Commerce, where she graduated in 1967, as well as a Ph.D. in economics, and worked as a banker for many years. In 2000, she decided to take an acting course with Saad Ardash, during which time she appeared in a few small roles in a number of works, including Alexandria/New York with director Youssef Chahine. She stopped acting for a few years until she was selected to play Ahmed Helmy's mother in his 2009 film Congratulations. She's best known for El Kabir Awy, Asmaa, February the 30th and A Useless Day.
Laila Ezz El Arab is an Egyptian actress. She graduated from the faculty of commerce, and holds a PhD in economics. She worked in her primary field for years, until she fully retired in 2005 and started pursuing a career in acting. Since then, she has appeared in many films and television series, including the "Asmaa", "Alf Mabrouk", "Elbab fi Elbab" and "Lessa Badry".
