An Egyptian actor who was born on March 16, 1950. He debuted in the film Congratulations (2009) as he played the role of Ahmed Helmy's father. He started acting after forty years of working in government services, until he reached the position of first undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity. He also participated in an advertising campaign for a soda company with Ahmed Mekky. He was preparing to star in a new movie entitled "The Bus" starring Bushra and Zina and written and directed by Mohamed Diab, but he died of a heart attack on January 18, 2010 at the age of 60.
