American actor born on August 26, 1970 in Hornell, New York, USA. His parents are Carl and Carol Marino. After graduating from high school, Carl attended the US Military Academy at West Point for two years. Then, while he was studying criminal justice at Rochester Institute of Technology, Carl became a deputy sheriff in New York and worked for about 17 years, and after his service and the death of his parents, he moved to California to be closer to some of his family members who had moved there years earlier. While in California, he signed with a modeling agency there. He auditioned for a feature film, landed the role, and made his cinematic debut in the 2010 indie film Sedona's Rule. In 2009, he appeared on the program Trauma on NBC. He acted and appeared in numerous feature films, television shows, and national commercials. He is best known for Homicide Hunter and My Name Is Khan. He married Ilona Marino and had two children from a previous marriage.
