Phil Hay is an American writer and producer, working in partnership with Matt Manfredi. He is married to director Karyn Kusama, with whom he made two critically acclaimed films; The Invitation (2015), and Destroyer (2018), which premiered at Telluride Festival in 2018. His most notable work includes the film Crazy/Beautiful (2001) and the series The Mysterious Benedict Society (2021).
