He is a British writer, director, producer, and actor, born in Portsmouth, UK in 1973. He began his writing and directing career in the short film Royalty (2001). Afterwards, he made his first feature-length film, London to Brighton (2006). In 2018, he won the British BAFTA Award for the television movie, Murdered for Being Different.
