Egyptian poet and critic, who obtained a BA in Journalism from the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University. He worked as a journalist in the Al Ahaly newspaper. He received the Excellence Award in Arts in 2006 for his overall literary work. He died on July 28, 2012.
