A Lebanese lyric poet, born in Jezzine District, Southern Lebanon. In addition to his passion for poetry, he was a prominent member of the Lebanese national volleyball team. He worked as a physical education teacher after graduating from the Teachers’ College. He was a prominent member of the Lebanese Professional Authors and Composers Association. He worked with the Rahbani brothers in more than one work and was one of the most prominent participants in the Baalbek festivals. A number of famous artists sang his lyrics, such as Wadei Al Safi, Sabah, and Melhem Barakat. His work includes Fish Without Bones (1978). He passed away on July 31, 1996, at age 57.
