Egyptian writer, screenwriter, and novelist, born in 1944 in Al Moqataah village, El Senbellawein, Dakahlia Governorate. He graduated from the High Institute of Theatrical Arts - Decor section but opted for a career in writing. He received the State Incentive Award from late president Gamal Abdel Nasser. He wrote several plays that were performed in the State Theater in Egypt and some were produced on the Egyptian Radio and Television. His works include the play First Time Lover (2003). He died on 5 January 2010.
