A writer and producer, born in Perth, Western Australia, Australia on November 23, 1962, as Andrew John Bovell. He was awarded the Australian Centenary Medal in the Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to Australian society and Australian film production in 2001. His most famous movies are Lantana (2001), Blessed (2009), Edge of Darkness (2010) and A Most Wanted Man (2014).
